Overview

Who we are

The Sen. Shehu Buba Youths Network (SSBYN) is a youth-centered, non-profit political organization, founded in 2026. The organization was formed by concerned and politically conscious young people of Bauchi State with the primary aim of supporting the vision, initiatives, and political ambition of Sen. Shehu Buba, in his bid to contest in the Bauchi State Governorship in 2027.

SSBYN is built on a strong belief in youth inclusion in democratic processes. It seeks to transmit and spread the leadership qualities, achievements, and values of Distinguished Sen. Shehu Buba across the entire Bauchi State, with a core focus on mobilizing youths—the largest and most energetic bloc of the electorate.

To build a politically informed and motivated youth constituency in Bauchi State, united in support of visionary and progressive leadership.

Mission

To serve as a structured platform for youth mobilization, political education, and grassroots outreach, anchored on the candidacy of Distinguished Senator Shehu Buba for Governorship in 2027.

What we work for

Our objectives

The Sen. Shehu Buba Youths Network (SSBYN) is not just a support group—it is a well-organized political movement with defined goals. Its key objectives include:

Youth Mobilization

Reach, educate, and organize the youths of Bauchi State to understand and support Distinguished Senator Shehu Buba’s competence, character, and vision for transformational leadership.

Political and Voter Education

Educate the public—especially youths—on key democratic values: how to vote, how to protect their votes, and how to engage in issue-based politics rather than political manipulation and inducement.

Grassroots Engagement (House-to-House Mobilization)

Organize personal and direct interactions with women, youths, and community groups, especially in rural and underserved areas, to:

  • Encourage collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
  • Discourage vote-selling and political tokenism.
  • Increase voter turnout during elections.

Expand engagement through institutions and youth hubs across Bauchi State.

    Engage youth in interactive sessions to discuss issues and solutions.

  2. Political Bootcamps and Training

    Educate volunteers on election laws, campaign strategies, and political organizing.

  3. Media Engagements

    Use radio shows, podcasts, and social media campaigns to educate the public and showcase the achievements of Distinguished Senator Shehu Buba.

  4. Outreach to Youth-Led Groups

    Partner with student unions, youth clubs, and religious youth wings to expand influence.

  5. Data-Driven Mobilization

    Collect and manage youth voter data to guide targeted advocacy.
